Credits are equivalent to minutes of consultations. To make phone calls, you need to have credits on your account – a bit like a pay-as-you-go phone contract.
One credit is one minute of a video or phone consultation. Consultations uploaded to our site are 10 credits, regardless of length.
If you have fewer than 10 credits, you won't be able to start making, or upload any consultations until you have topped up.
How are Credits charged for Consultations?
If you are making a recorded phone call, you will be charged credits per minute from when both you and the patient have connected to the call.
For recorded video consultations, credits are charged per minute from when both patient and doctor join the call. If you want to practice doing a video call without being charged, just turn off recording when you make the call.
Credits usage is calculated from the start of the minute, not the end. For example a call lasting 10 minutes and 16 seconds would be charged at 11 credits. The call time is stopped when one person ends the call.
File uploads are charged at a flat rate of 10 credits, regardless of length.
The Audit trail of a recording will show you the credit usage of that recording.
