If an Assessor needs the Trainee to re-send the assessment request, this will depend on whether the assessment exists in the current Review Period, or a locked Review Period where an ESR has occurred.
The Assessment was created in the current Review Period:
If the Trainee has sent the invite to the Assessor in the current Review Period then they can easily resend the request:
-
Scroll down to the Educational assessments area and click on the assessment form:
- Scroll down to the Assessment requests box and click View on the assessment that is showing 'Waiting':
- You'll see the option to click on Resend as shown:
- Here you can either Resend with the same details, send to a new email address by clicking on Change the email or Invite a different colleague altogether:
- Follow the instructions as prompted depending on which option you wish to choose
The Assessment was created in a locked Review Period (where an ESR has occurred):
If the Trainee has sent the invite to the Assessor in a previous Review Period then the assessment will essentially become locked.
Invites can only be resent if:
- a new Review Period has been created
- the Assessor did not start entering any information/saved a Draft
In order to resend an assessment request on a previous Review Period, the Trainee will need to bring the assessment into the current Review Period and then following the guidance above.
How to bring an assessment into the current Review Period:
- First find the original assessment request (see our help article here)
-
Once you have clicked on View on the assessment in question from the Assessments from other review periods you should see that the system gives you an option to Use in my current review period:
- You will then need to click on Invite details and then you will see the Resend option as detailed above
