Below we list some reasons that assessments might show as 'waiting assessment' even though an Assessor says they have completed it:
Pop up Blockers
When an Assessor clicks on Submit, they should see a confirmation box asking them to double check they are happy to submit:
If they have Pop up blockers, then their device / website settings could be preventing them from seeing this box. They won't have the option to press OK, and assessment cannot be marked as Complete.
Incomplete details:
All assessments will have mandatory fields that the Assessor will need to complete before they can submit the assessment/mark it as completed.
If the Assessor has not completed one (or more) of the mandatory fields, when they click 'OK' on the pop up box when prompted to submit the assessment, they will be taken back to the top of the assessment and advised which question/s are left unanswered as shown:
Saved as Draft:
If your Assessor has completed all the mandatory fields, but click on Save As Draft rather than Submit (as shown below), this could also be why the assessment is showing as 'Waiting':
This can also happen if the Assessor has started completing the information and moved away from the page.
