Uploaded Recordings: can I edit them?

When you upload recordings made outside of FourteenFish, you will be asked to declare if you have made any edits to the consultation.

If you have made edits - for example, cutting out sections from the middle of the consultations, then unfortunately we won't be able to accept these on our site. When uploading, you need to declare edits, and the upload process does not start if your declaration is Yes.

You have the option of trimming the consultation, i.e. you can remove either some of the start and/or the end of the recording. However, please bear in mind that this should only be done if you are editing out silence, or an unrelated short conversation.

If you have trimmed a recording, you can select No when asked if you have made any edits to the recording.
