    Hi Phil,

I have a recording where patient's kid pressed all the buttons and the consent got cancelled but she is very much happy for the consultation to be used for assessment purposes. the section on RCA fourteen fish says (consent not given). Can that consultation be re-instated if i can produce legitimate consent from the patient? or is the consultation now gone for good?

    Thanks

I am not sure if this only happens to me. Since the change in consenting process, I have high proportion of patients refused consent to recordings. And the highest record I had is 6 refusal in a row. I find this rather distressing. Just wonder if any other trainees experience the same issue.

Kee – I have raised a support ticket for you and you will hear from us by email later today. We can look at the audit logs for your recent phone consultations and check exactly how your recent patients responded to the recording consent message.

Hi Suleman – If consent is not given at the start of the call then no recording is made at all. If consent is withdrawn at the end of the call (this only applies to videos) then the recording is automatically deleted and cannot be retrieved I'm afraid. We do ask the patient to confirm if they select "No" as you can see in the screenshot below. If they don't tap a button, we assume they are still happy to have the consultation recorded.

    Thank you Phil,

My question was regarding a telephone consult instead of a video consult . but sounds like it is not recorded due to accidental revokation of consent, so i'll have to work hard to find another good one.

    thanks
