'ESR' stands for Educational Supervisor's Review and can refer to either the ESR meeting itself or the finalised written report.
This is noted on your Training Map as. report and is a grey lozenge when open for editing, and a green lozenge when the report is signed off.
Who completes the ESR?
- The Educational Supervisor (ES)
When a trainee reaches the end of a Review Period, they will consolidate/check their Learning Logs and Assessments, showcase their progression through the Capabilities and complete the necessary declarations. The report should only be signed off when all the progress wheels in the Portfolio summary section are at 100%.
The ES will review this information, add their observations and help the trainee set objectives for the next Review Period as appropriate PDP.
The ES will sign off the ESR first and then the trainee will review the content then complete their own sign off to lock the ESR and produce the report.
