Who sets the ESR Type to being a 'final' ESR?
It is the Educational Supervisor that will need to set the ESR as the final one
How does the ES set the ESR Type?
- The ES signs into their account and clicks on the trainee's name from their Dashboard:
- The trainee's current Review Period (ESR) must reside in an ST3 Stage of Training, which can be found on the right hand side box of the trainee's Portfolio page:
- The trainee must also have already had one ESR in ST3 (which can be found on their training map) and be nearing their End of Training date (also shown above
- In the trainee's current Review Period, the ES will need to scroll down to the ESR preparation box and click on 'Prepare':
- The trainee is in ST3 and they have already had one ESR and are nearing their CCT, the system will ask them if this is their final ESR. If ‘Yes’ is selected then the ESR shown will be for the final ESR (this should be selected even if they think the trainee requires an extension). If they select ’No’ there will then be the question as to whether this is an Interim ESR.
