Within your practice you may wish to use an iPad to gather your questionnaire results and you can do this by setting the weblink on your iPad and then locking the iPad to solely show this. The weblink is found on the Survey setup page.
How do I lock the iPad to show one website?
To restrict the iPad to just one website guided access needs to be enabled on the iPad. This can be done by going to Settings > General on the options menu on the right hand side, select Accessibility > Guided Access.
On this page you can toggle the on/off button and set a password for Guided Access. Press Home button to return to the Home screen.
Open the Safari app, triple click the home button so that the Guided Access screen appears. Press Start, the iPad is then locked to one app.
To restrict users from changing the website you can disable touch on the web URL area of the page. Access the Guided Access screen again by triple clicking the home button and entering your passcode.
Enable Touch option > on and then draw a shape over the URL area of the page, this can be adjusted and moved by clicking the corner icons. Click Resume in the top right corner and the selected area of the screen will no longer react to touch.
To end Guided Access triple click the home button and enter the Guided Access passcode.
