PDP's can be found on the right hand side of your Portfolio (shown below) and when you start your first Review Period, it is expected you will not have any listed.
FourteenFish splits PDP into 'Agreed PDP' (shown below as goals from your last review) and 'PDP Ideas' (shown below as New PDP entries):
Agreed PDP (Goals from your last review):
These are goals that have previously or recently been agreed upon with your Supervisor and are what you are working towards in your current Review Period.
These will need to be reviewed at the time that you have an ESR and can usually be carried over to your next Review Period. Please be aware that previously Agreed PDPs cannot currently be carried over at ESR sign off (as of 05/03/2025) but our dev team are looking to fix this. Any PDP that trainees wish to be transferred to their next Review Period must be added as a New PDP Idea and the Supervisor must transfer these by clicking on Create PDP entry from this as detailed in our Help Article here.
PDP Ideas (New PDP entries):
These are intended to be ideas that you, as the trainee, would put forward for discussion with your Supervisor at your ESR. They are intended to be PDP that you will work on from your next Review Period onwards.
Your Supervisor must agree these and correctly mark this as part of the ESR preparation. Once the ESR is signed off, they will convert from New PDP's to Agreed PDP Goals.
