RCOphth: Portfolio Overview (OLD Curriculum)

This article gives an overview of how to navigate around the Portfolio area of your account but first make sure you:

• Have clicked into the Portfolio area of your account
• Respond to the Time out of Training prompt:

• Watched the introductory video, which can be found by clicking on Introduction as shown:

Portfolio information section:

• Here you will see information about your training including: your Deanery, your Training Program (which will not currently be filled in), your End of Training date, your current Stage of Training date, your Post (also showing your current Stage of Training), your current Review Period dates & your linked Supervisors
• Access your All entries page which lists all Learning Logs & Assessments across all Review Periods
• Settings where you can make sure your entries are tagging to the correct curriculum and choose whether you want to receive email alerts from your Supervisor 
• The messaging forum between your Supervisor and you
• Access to the Training Map

Training Map:

• The training map is an interactive timeline of your training to date
• It shows your Stages of Training, your Posts (also Stages of Training), your Review Periods (including completed ESR reports), your ARCP's and MSF

Learning Logs:

• Here you can add new logs such as Reflections, QIA's, Eye Logbooks, Additional Evidence, Curriculum Catch Up entries - see our Help section on Learning Logs
• View completed Learning Logs in your current Review Period
• You can also check your Curriculum coverage, which shows you the percentage progress you have made towards each Learning Outcome.

Portfolio Summary:

• Here you can see your Progress wheel showing the percentage achieved towards your Outcomes in your current Review Period
• Requirements take you to the table showing how many of each type of entry you have completed
• The Prepare area is where you will complete the Educational Supervisor's Report (ESR) 

Education assessments:

• Here you can request new DOPS, OSATS, CBDs, CRSs, EPAs, CS Reports & DOPSi's - see our Help section on Assessments & Skills
• View completed and 'in progress' assessments in your current Review Period
• You can also see your Scores over time, which details more on your Assessments

Practical Skills Table:

• Here you can request new DOPS as well as look in more detail at the breakdown of achieved Practical skills - see our Help section on Surgical Skills Explained

Surgical Skills Table:

• Here you can request new OSATS as well as look in more detail at the breakdown of achieved Practical skills - see our Help section on Surgical Skills Explained 

Compliance passport:

Here you can upload your Form R, SOAR Forms and update other training documents - see our Help section on Compliance passport

Time out of training:

• You can record and view any time out of training - see our Help section on Time Out of Training

PDP:

• This is where you can add previously agreed PDP Goals, review your PDP goals for your ESR and add PDP ideas for your next Review Period - see our Help section on PDP

Exams:

• This is where Exam bookings & results will eventually filter through (the RCOphth advise that this should be the second quarter of 2025)

Multi-source feedback:

• Here you can start a Colleague 360 & view previous feedback - see our Help section on Colleague 360 Surveys
• You will see an option to Collect Patient feedback but this is not currently an option on the Portfolio

Educator notes:

• Here you can view any Historic data from Blueberry that the RCOphth has shared with us as well as notes added by Supervisors or ARCP Members
