When is an Appraisal classed as locked?
An appraisal is counted as being locked when:
- the Appraisee has made their initial sign off
- the Appraiser has completed their sign off
- the Appraisee has completed their final sign off after reviewing the Appraiser's write up
How can changes be made to a locked appraisal?
The only way that changes can be made to locked appraisals is to contact FourteenFish.
Please be aware though that before we can make any changes, we will need written consent from both the Appraiser and the Responsible Office / local Appraisal Team.
If changes need to be made, please raise a Ticket with us directly and forward us the written consent, or ask the RO/Appraisal Team to contact us to request the change.
What happens next?
Depending on what needs to be amended on the appraisal will dictate what happens next:
- Changes to Dates / Designated Body - there are certain fields that FourteenFish can change which do not require the appraisal to be re-opened. In these circumstances, we will make the necessary change (once we have the written consent), regenerate the summary and send the updated summary to the Designated Body
- Changes requiring updates by the Appraisee or Appraiser - if the change requires that the appraisal is re-opened, we will unlock the appraisal (once we have the written consent), which will put the appraisal back to the 'With Appraiser' status. Both Appraisee and Appraiser can make the necessary changes their side and then the final sign off declarations will need to be completed once more. This will generate a new summary, which is sent to the Designated Body
