Who changes Stage of Training or WTE dates?
If a resident doctor's Stage of Training/Level dates needing amending, both the resident doctor and Supervisor can make these changes. Deanery and College level administrators can also access and change this if there is the need but the resident doctor owns their portfolio so this should not be a frequent requirement.
As this is also where the Working Time Equivalent (WTE) is set you may need to make any adjustments to this as or for the resident doctor if circumstances change.
How can Supervisors or resident doctors change Stage of Training dates?
First you need to navigate to the Training Map, and here click on the Stage of Training in the Training Map to expand the further information box below.
Then for Stage of Training dates it is the green box.
It is important to Save these changes for the portfolio to update.
Other Stages of Training are listed for guidance, to help ensure that you do not attempt to overlap Review Period dates, as the system flags this to prevent overlaps.
NB: The Extension option should only be used at the end of the final years of training for additional information to be added at the request of ARCP to fulfil Outcome 6.
