The new assessment process removes the need to populate the invitation at the outset. This step is now managed after submission by the trainee.
When initiating an assessment request, trainees will first be required to complete all necessary fields within the assessment form.
Once all fields have been completed, you will have the option to either Save as Draft or Invite.
Selecting Invite will begin the process of choosing a colleague to review the assessment.
Selecting Save as Draft will save your progress without initiating the review process.
From this point, you can either select a previously invited colleague or invite a new colleague to review the assessment.
Once selected, click Submit
The trainee will then be notified of the status of their assessment request.
The colleague will then receive a request to review the assessment.
When receiving an invitation to review an assessment, the colleague will be presented with two options:
Create a new FourteenFish account
Log in to an existing FourteenFish account
If the colleague already has a FourteenFish account, the assessment will be available immediately after logging in.
If the colleague needs to create an account, the process is as follows:
To register for a new FourteenFish account, you will need to complete the required fields and create a password.
After the initial registration, you will be required to set up two-factor authentication (2FA).
Once your 2FA has been set up, you will be able to view the assessment you have been asked to complete.
At this point the trainee will be updated on the status of the assessment.
Once logged in, you will be able to complete the assessment.
Once the assessor has reviewed the assessment and added any necessary curriculum tags, select Submit to complete the assessment.
As an assessor, once your account has been created, you will have access to a dashboard that displays all pending assessment requests. These are listed in order, with the oldest requests shown first.
Alternatively, you can access these requests by selecting ‘Go to your entries for review’.
