All Assessments must be completed in full by your Supervisor or Assessor in order for them to become visible to the ARCP! Below we explain how a resident doctor can create an assessment request and invite your Supervisor or Assessor:
- Scroll down to the Education Assessments section of your Portfolio overview page and select the type of assessment you would like to request:
- Click on the assessment you would like to Request:
On the next page you can enter details of a Supervisor or Assessor you have previously invited by clicking in the bullet point next to their name within your contacts list:
Or Invite a new colleague if you have not sent an assessment request to that Supervisor or Assessor before by filling in their details:- You can choose to Add a personal message:
- Make sure to give your assessment a Descriptive title:
Fill in the mandatory fields within the body of the assessment form (this will differ depending on the type of assessment you are entering). If you miss any mandatory fields you will not be able to send the request off and you will see an orange banner appear, which will advise which question you need to answer: - Once you have completed the mandatory fields, you can then click Invite:
The assessment request will than appear in both the Assessment specific page of your Portfolio for that template and on the All entries page. The Assessment specific page will show the status of the request...
Once the Supervisor or Assessor has completed the form and Submitted it, it will be accessible to you in full and appears on your Requirements page.
