As a Supervisor, you should be able to access your trainee's Portfolio from the main Dashboard when you log in:
If you do not have this area, there are a couple of possible reasons.
Perhaps you have multiple accounts with FourteenFish?
It maybe that your trainee is linked to a different account to the one you are logging in with.
If you think that this might be the case then the best thing for us to do, if you would like us to, is merge these accounts so that all of your information is in one place.
To do this we will just need you to complete the following steps:
1. Send an individual message from both/all of your email addresses, verifying you would like us to merge the accounts.
2. We would be grateful if you could let us know which email address you would like to be set as your main email address (this is where all automated emails will go to - for example, password resets).
Perhaps your Programme Manager or Deanery Admin hasn't yet linked your account to your trainee.
To check this, please can you ask your trainee to follow the instructions on this page, as they should be able to add you to their portfolio if the Deanery admin team have added you to their post or review period. If your trainee doesn't see your name listed, this means that the training programme has not assigned you as a supervisor.
Please contact your Deanery directly to ask if they can add you as current Educational/Clinical Supervisor to your trainee's database entry. They hold the current information about training posts and relevant Supervisors; we do not have access to this at FourteenFish, so have limited ability to assist you.
Has an ESR recently been signed off?
If you have just signed off a trainee's ESR, a new review period may not have been added by your Patch Manager/Deanery Admin Team yet. This may be why you may no longer be linked to your trainee.
In this case as well, please contact them directly to ask if this has been done. If the Deanery Admin or Programme Manager need any help or think they have already done this, please feel free to ask them to contact us to help.
Well, how does one find out which deaneries HAVE migrated and which ones haven't? A link would be useful....
I am sorry this page was out of date... I have removed the reference to the Deaneries not being migrated, as all Deaneries are now migrated. If you cannot see your trainee it will either be that you have two accounts with different emails, or that your Deanery have not yet added you to the Trainee's Portfolio.
