Whether you have fully completed your FCP1 on another platform or are using FourteenFish to complete FCP1 will determine what you need to do within your Portfolio.
Check your Training dates
In either scenario, we would ask that you check the dates of your Stages of Training (and corresponding Review Periods) within the Portfolio area of your account- click on Training map as shown:
If any of your Stage of Training or Review Period dates look incorrect, please contact the MACP Administration team.
When your FCP2 Training starts will determine how your Training Map will look...
I have completed FCP1 outside of FourteenFish and FCP2 has started:
If your FCP2 training has already started then you will not require an FCP1 Stage of Training or Review Period, and your Trainee Timeline should look as below:
I have completed FCP1 outside of FourteenFish and FCP2 has not yet started:
You will not need to complete the Requirements within the Review Period, you just need to upload your certificate serves as proof that you have completed FCP1.
To log this within your Portfolio, scroll down to the Compliance passport where you will see an 'MACP membership' field as shown:
Once you click on this, you will need to:
1. Choose a file or drag the document onto the highlighted box below
2. Make sure you fill in the Date of your document
3. Click Save
Once saved, your MACP membership field will turn green:
Return to the top of your Portfolio overview page, where you will see the a pink banner appear at the top of the screen advising you to Move to Stage 2:
Click on this and you you will be transferred to FCP2 and the following confirmation message will appear at the top of the Overview page:
If you have an FCP1 Stage of Training open and no certificate to add to the Compliance passport but your Supervisor agrees that you are an FCP2 trainee, the following advice needs to be followed:
In order for you to evidence and close FCP1, your Supervisor needs to follow these instructions:
- Log into their FourteenFish account and go to your Trainee Portfolio (through the Supervisor's Area via the Dashboard)
- Click on Stage 1 Report:
- Click on New FCP Stage 1:
- When the below pop up box appears - select OK:
- Your Supervisor will need to tick the boxes for the highlighted affirmations, then hit Save:
- Then the Supervisor needs to Complete the FCP Stage 1:
- When the below pop up box appears - select OK:
Once your Supervisor has done this, you will see the Stage 1 report entry as below:
When you click into it, it will show as 'Completed':
I have not yet completed FCP1 on FourteenFish:
If you are using our Portfolio to complete your FCP1, then please ensure you have completed the below tasks:
1. Make sure all the Requirements have been met
You will need to ensure that you have covered all of the curriculum requirements across the learning logs and assessments. You can see when this has been achieved as the progress wheel will show as 100%:
2. Supervisor Review
Your supervisor will need to check through your Portfolio to ensure that all your information, including your MACP certificate, is correct.
NB: There is no formal Sign off button that the Supervisor needs to click
3. Upload your MACP Membership
Make sure you upload your MACP membership within the Compliance Passport (this is shown earlier on in this article).
