Do I make Revalidation Recommendations on FFARMS or GMC Connect?

You can use either system to make Revalidation Recommendations but only when you complete these on FFARMS will the information be updated on both systems automatically.

Using FFARMS:

When you save the recommendation on FFARMS it automatically passes the information on to GMC Connect. You will then see the result filter back to FFARMS from GMC Connect in the next few days.

Using GMC Connect:

When you use GMC Connect to make the recommendation unfortunately FFARMS cannot automatically reflect this decision onto that person's FFARMS record because the only data we receive from GMC Connect is their next revalidation date.

If you have already made the Recommendation on GMC Connect - not to worry! You can easily reflect the changes manually on FFARMS:

 

To do this go onto the Revalidation page of the person you want to update and rather than hitting Make a Final recommendation at the top of the page scroll down to their Revalidations section and you will see the option to Update the recommendation as below:
