Please don't worry - it is a fairly common issue that the feedback summary files appear inaccessible when in fact they should be...
1. Make sure you are not opening the summary using a web browser
When you open the appraisal summary in a web browser (where there is an address bar at the top of the page), the attachment file names will be viewable but they are not active links.
2. Download the summary as a pdf
You will first need to download the Appraisal summary onto your device
3. Open the pdf directly from your Downloads folder on your device
Sometimes when you download the appraisal summary, you might see the document appear in the bottom left hand side of your screen. Don't open this as you will still be directed to view the document within a web browser.
Instead, make sure that you open the document by going to the Downloads folder on your device:
- On a PC, this is wherever you set your documents to be saved by default
- On a MAC, this is via the Finder icon
4. Make sure you open the pdf using Adobe
Once you are viewing the summary PDF in Adobe, you should be able to view attachments via:
- the attachments icon (a paperclip) to the left of the document
- the list of attachments that opens
