- Select Community from your Dashboard (if you have more than one Community you may need to select the Community you wish to invite someone to from the right hand list of Communities).
- Scroll down and and at the bottom right of the menu select invite a new member
- Enter their email address and other details
- Click Add Colleague
- Your colleague will then be added to the community and an email sent to inform them
Actioning community invites
If the person you have invited doesn't have a FourteenFish account, they will need to create one. This is all don't automatically when they click the link in the email they receive inviting them to join the community.
If the person has a FourteenFish account and you've invited them to the community using one of the confirmed emails on their account, then they will be automatically added to the community without them needing to take any action.
If the person has a FourteenFish account, but you've used a different email address to invite them to the community, then they will be able to accept the invite by signing into their existing FourteenFish account without needing to create a new one. In other words, it doesn't really matter what email address you use to invite someone to a community.
