RCOphth: How to create a new Colleague Survey - Assessment of Performance (New Curriculum)

**Please do not use the Surveys page of your account to create new feedback - this should all be done via your Portfolio page!

Starting a new Colleague Survey

• Click on Portfolio from your Dashboard
• Scroll down to the Multi-source feedback box on the right hand side of your Portfolio
• Click on Start a RCOphth Assessment of Performance (New curriculum)

Completing the Self Assessment

Once you start the survey, you will be taken to the Self assessment form, which you will have to work through before you can access your Feedback survey:

The answers you provide are used to compare how you think you score in the areas concerned to what your colleagues then score you.

NB - if you cannot send your survey invitations, check the Your Progress box at the top of the set up page to ensure the Self Assessment has been completed (grey text and a tick).

Setting your Supervisor

After completing the Self Assessment form, what you see next will depend on whether you have shared your Portfolio with one, or multiple, Supervisor/s.

I have not set my Supervisor:

If you have not set your Supervisor, the system will take you directly to the Colleague survey page and your 'Colleague to receive results' will show as blank:

I have one Supervisor linked to my Portfolio:

If you have just one Supervisor linked to your Portfolio, the system will take you directly to the Colleague survey page and it will automatically fill in your 'Colleague to receive results' as your set Supervisor:

I have more than one Supervisor linked to my Portfolio:

If you have multiple Supervisors linked to your Portfolio, the system will take you to the below page where you be able to click on the dropdown list and choose which Supervisor you wish to review your survey summary:

Make sure to hit Save and then you will be taken to the survey set up page to add the colleagues to invite. Please see the following help article for a guide to do this...

RCOphth: Inviting colleagues to fill in a Colleague survey

The 'Colleague to receive results' indicates who is set to review and release your results to you, once the survey is closed.
